Community Support

Smart Start of Forsyth County serves a county with approximately 28,272 children under the age of 6. With almost 30% of our community’s children living in poverty, Smart Start strives to provide high quality, low cost services to those in need, either directly through our staff or through our funded partner agencies.

Smart Start also serves the parent who may not have a financial need, but who seeks support in their parental or grandparental role.

For more information about our community impact, please visit our Community Impact page.

Smart Start of Forsyth County’s impact in our community is largely made possible by the work of state legislators who help tell the story of our children during the state budgeting process. Smart Start also relies on local support from generous businesses, corporations, foundations, and individuals.
