Description Main Purpose of the Role: Enforce ZIM's Best Practice, Procedure and business processes in Logistics & Operations Discipline of USA & Caribbean region. Provide system support in company's operation system in Sales, BI, Trade, Commercial discipline and support-implement the commercial system processes (Order to Cash) business processes, performing system analysis for enhancement, coordinating with business users, vendors, developers, performing QA testing, and handling system projects.
Main Tasks: - Absorb knowledge on all business & System processes of Company's various Commercial relevant systems and spread knowledge from Head Office global Implementation and business units.
- Work with agencies to understand their business requirements and design, configure, implement, train, test the various systems incl. Trade, Sales, Booking, documentation, Invoicing in export/import process including CRM and BI solutions that meet those requirements including integration with internal modules
- Support Customers (external/internal) with customer specific EDI's and Accounts Receivables integration and others
- Enforcing ZIM's Best Practice, procedures and business processes in logistics & operations discipline for all agencies in USA/Caribbean
- Work with HQ Commercial & Documentation consultants to ensure that the all modules and systems is integrated with other SAP modules, such as FI (Financial Accounting) and CO (Controlling)
- Collaborate with IT-Logistics-OPS-Finance BRM to implement projects cross discipline
- Monitoring & handling support issues through the remedy system including escalation process and following them.
- Provide guidance to the team for handling and resolving system issue
- Auditing commercial events, connected operational events in internal systems and SAP and trouble-shoot roots causes to improve accuracy
- Co-ordinate any training needs received by an agency of Area
- Performing system analysis for enhancement
- Monitor and follow up of outstanding system developments and enhancements
- Testing of system enhancements & continuous improvement
- Assisting on new system implementations, projects, new products, module, functionalities, etc.
- Co-ordinate with project manager, developers, QA to help them understand business requirements and the processes, to ensure the enhancements are complied with users and business requirements.
Requirements • Bachelor's degree in a related field, preferably in a business or technical field
• Business and System Analysis Skills and Process oriented and documentation incl. Project Management
• 5-10 years of experience in container shipping company with decision support and business analysis skills
• 3-4 years' Experience in Commercial Systems & documentation process in Container Shipping industry
• Knowledge with Oracle-HCM, Microsoft Dynamics and SAP-MM (procure2pay) module is added advantage
• Business acumen: Good understanding of business processes and practices, including procurement, inventory management, and supply chain management
• Quick learner, Enabler, result oriented and manage and provide tangible outputs
• Capability to break down complex procedures into user-friendly, logical steps for non-technical end-users
• Good analytical abilities, Coordination with internal team & vendors and time management
• Trouble shooting capability & Solution driven with leadership skills
