Job Description

Company Description

Galactic Advisors makes cybersecurity easy and understandable. Our third-party analysis helps organizations secure data, eliminate vulnerabilities, track fixes, and avoid common mistakes.

Are you the kind of person who doesn’t just keep up, but stays ahead of the curve? We’re looking for an Executive Assistant based in Nashville to support Bruce McCully, our CEO. This is a front-line role where you’ll work at the heart of the business. Things move quickly, priorities shift constantly, and decisions happen fast. Bruce needs someone he can rely on. Someone who brings structure, calm, and clear thinking to the table.

You’ll become Bruce’s right hand. He’ll count on you for everything from big-picture coordination to small-but-critical details. If you’re the person others trust to pull everything together, this role might be the one.

What You'll Do:

Keep Everything Moving: You’ll manage a fast-paced, ever-changing calendar. You’ll help Bruce focus on what matters and keep his days on track no matter how quickly things change.

Follow Through on the Details: You’ll keep lists up to date, follow up on action items, and ensure nothing falls through the cracks.

Bring Calm to the Chaos: Bruce operates at full speed. You’ll bring order to the energy. You’ll handle the unexpected, solve problems quickly, and keep things smooth behind the scenes.

Plan and Coordinate with Excellence: From travel and meetings to events and special projects, you’ll handle logistics with care and precision.

Protect the Priorities: You’ll be the gatekeeper of Bruce’s time and attention. You’ll help filter what comes through, manage requests, and use good judgment to keep things flowing.

Our Core Values:

Take Extreme Ownership: Our team owns their issues, successes, and challenges. We have grit and step up to the plate. We look for ways to say, yes – we can do that.

Do It Better: We constantly look for ways to make life easier (and fun), often through process improvement, and automation.

Make It Fun: If it isn’t fun, it isn’t worth doing. Even the hard stuff is fun to do if you have the right mindset and the right people around you. Doing it better and making it fun go hand in hand.

Do The Right Thing: It’s much harder than sitting back or cutting corners—that is why it’s called the right thing, rather than the easy thing.

What You Bring to the Table:

Experience supporting a high-performing executive in a fast-moving environment

A sharp mind, calm presence, and a commitment to getting things done right

Confidence using technology, along with a curiosity to learn new tools

The ability to anticipate what’s needed before it’s asked for

This is not a background role. You will be a key partner to our CEO, with insight into the most important conversations and priorities in the business. If you are energized by movement, thrive in complexity, and enjoy making things work behind the scenes, you will love this opportunity.

We are only accepting applicants who are based in the United States and who are willing to travel (4-6 times annually).

Yes, this is a full-time role with great benefits:

Healthcare – medical, dental, and vision (we cover all premiums)

401K with company match

Paid time off and flexible scheduling

Remote-first culture with quarterly in-person team gatherings that always include a little adventure

Annual salary range: $80,000 to $90,000, based on experience and fit

We are changing the way companies think about cybersecurity. That sounds like a buzzword, right? Here’s what we actually mean. To revolutionize something is to make it 31 times better. That’s what we’re doing. We’re making cybersecurity 31 times better for businesses.
