About the Role:

THIS GENERAL MANAGER OPPORTUNITY IS FOR OUR EAST MLK FUSE LOCATION (2105 East MLK).

The ideal candidate will have a cheerful disposition, contagious personality, strong communication skills, and present a polished, professional image. The candidate will be a people-oriented, welcoming, and friendly person, with a strong disposition toward sales, hospitality, marketing, billing, operations, and networking. The General Manager oversees the entire operation at the FUSE center and supervises the on-site FUSE staff team. The candidate is the type of person who can achieve ambitious sales goals; who thinks proactively by providing extra-mile support for both clients and their team in advance of their needs; someone who enjoys connecting people and with people; someone who loves making people feel welcomed and appreciated; a leader who can run a business smoothly, efficiently, and profitably. FUSE General Managers love community, love giving back, and love serving others. Sales is a key function of this role.

 

Responsibilities include:

  • Ensuring the center is a clean, welcoming, and hospitable environment, providing extraordinary customer service
  • Sales-oriented; able to use a CRM to gain, follow, and convert leads; conduct outstanding tours, and close deals. Provides a quality member experience that promotes contract renewals.
  • Operations know-how; making the center efficient, effective, maintained, clean, and comfortable
  • Marketing savvy; leading the team to create outstanding content & quality outreach events
  • On top of member billing, revenues, & expenses; focus on making the center profitable
  • Overseeing member and prospective member events and programming in conjunction with the staff team; builds community with members, and interest for prospective members.
  • Ensuring members are informed, invited, welcomed, comfortable, and happy
  • Leading a team of customer-facing professionals who love what they do

  • Proven experience in sales, hospitality, or customer service. Sales is a key function of this role.

  • Ability to learn software systems; adept at Excel, Word, & CRM software
  • Physical Requirements: Ability to lift objects weighing 30 lbs.; move heavy office desks, packages, chairs, trash bins, or other office furniture using dollies; ability to climb short ladders for maintenance or storage needs; ability to clean and sanitize floors, surfaces, and equipment.
  • Travel to/from other centers in support as needed as well as travel to/from training events
  • Other Requirements: Valid driver’s license, motor vehicle insurance and liability limits that meet the company’s requirement outlined in the Driver’s Safety Policy; reliable transportation, satisfactory report from a background check; legal ability to work in the United States.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Experience in co-working/flex office is a plus!

Salary Range: $62,500 +
