Our personal injury law firm is seeking an experienced associate to handle all aspects of litigation. We prefer a candidate with at five years of civil litigation experience.

The candidate must be able to advocate effectively on behalf of clients and have a sincere interest in insurance and personal injury litigation. We are looking for an attorney who is ready to hit the ground running. Our litigation department is fast-paced and demanding. We need someone who is ready to grow with us.

ATTORNEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Negotiate personal injury cases
• Litigate cases from initial complaint through resolution
• Draft pleadings and motions; including summary judgment motions
• Propound discovery
• Prepare discovery responses
• Conduct and defend depositions
• Court appearances
• Conduct legal research
• Manage relations with clients
• Prepare for trial

QUALIFICATIONS FOR POSITION:

• 5+ year of litigation experience is preferred
• Strong negotiation skills
• Effective organization
• Ability to handle several tasks at once
• Candidate must be eager to learn, grow and perform responsibilities to the best of their ability
• Must be able to work in a team environment
