Job Description

Our client is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Litigation Associate to join our dynamic legal team. The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in litigation with experience in commercial disputes, employment law, and/or wage and hour class action matters. This role offers the opportunity to work on complex litigation cases and contribute meaningfully to a collaborative and client-focused legal environment.

• Conduct comprehensive legal research and analysis to support case development and trial preparation.
• Draft and prepare litigation documents, including pleadings, motions, discovery requests and responses, and legal memoranda.
• Manage a docket of cases, including commercial litigation matters and employment class actions, particularly wage and hour disputes.
• Participate in court proceedings, including hearings, conferences, and depositions.
• Collaborate with senior attorneys on litigation strategy and case management.
• Utilize legal research tools such as Westlaw for case law, statutes, and procedural rules.
• Maintain clear and consistent communication with clients, providing updates and addressing case-related inquiries.

Qualifications

• Strong legal drafting skills with the ability to write persuasively and concisely.
• Experience or strong interest in commercial litigation and wage and hour/employment class action cases.
• Capable of managing multiple cases and meeting deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Professional courtroom demeanor and the ability to litigate cases effectively under pressure.
• Proficiency with legal research platforms such as Westlaw is preferred.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills for client interaction and advocacy.
