JOB DESCRIPTION

KVAL is seeking a creative full-time News Photographer. Applicants should demonstrate strong editing skills in non-linear edit systems, excellent interpersonal skills, a strong work ethic, and a positive attitude. A passion for storytelling is essential for this role. Requirements and Qualifications: Minimum of 1 year shooting experience with technical knowledge of editing and photo equipment. Ability to work as part of a team and produce compelling stories under tight deadlines. Valid driver's license with a good driving record. Capability to shoot and edit general assignment stories, live shots, and natural sound packages. Physical ability to lift and carry between 25 and 50 pounds regularly.
