Position: Recruiter

  • Location : Asheville, NC (In-office)
  • Job Type : Full-time, Salaried
  • Salary Range : $47,500 per year base salary + commission (Commissions paid monthly and Annual Bonus eligible)

Job Purpose

As a Recruiter at Friday Services, you will play a crucial role in changing people's lives daily. Your task is to create impactful candidate matches with jobs they are skilled for and matched with the business's culture that need their talents. You'll thrive in creating and maintaining client relations, sourcing, screening, interviewing candidates, and presenting job offers. This is a fun and fast-paced career that offers the opportunity to learn and grow alongside a supportive team.

Primary Duties

  • Actively source and recruit candidates using effective screening and interviewing techniques.
  • Work closely with clients to understand their hiring goals, ensuring job orders are filled promptly and with the best fits.
  • Manage the onboarding process, including background checks, drug screening, orientations, and safety training.
  • Maintain regular communication with clients and employees to foster positive relationships.
  • Provide coaching and counseling to employees as needed.

Requirements

  • Proficiency in computer skills, including the MS Office suite and the ability to learn company software.
  • Exceptional oral and written communication skills, with the ability to engage and coach individuals from diverse backgrounds.
  • Flexible, adaptable, and detail-oriented, with a strong organizational and time management capacity.
  • A proven track record of delivering results in a production-based environment. Recruiting, staffing, HR, or related field experience is preferred.
  • High School Diploma or higher. Additional qualifications in recruiting or HR are a plus.

Performance Expectations

  • Key metric: Growth in gross profit from placing candidates in suitable roles.
