\nAdventist Health is seeking a motivated speech language pathologist to join our inpatient rehabilitation team in Reedley/Selma, CA where you will evaluate and treat patients on our swing bed unit as well as on the medical/surgical unit. The main responsibility of this position will be to deliver speech language pathology services to our swing bed patients to facilitate the recovery and return of each patient back to their home environment. The swing bed unit operates similarly to a skilled nursing facility but is located in our Adventist Health Reedley hospital. Job Summary:
\nProvides diagnostic, therapeutic and consultative services to patients with communication, cognitive and swallowing disorders. Adheres to state and federal regulatory license, certification and accrediting requirement guidelines. Serves as an integral member of the interdisciplinary care team.

\nPatient caseload of 8 patients/day. Reviews patient information before evaluations and during course of treatment. Conducts and documents comprehensive patient assessments. Assists in data collection of patient outcomes. Instructs and directs support staff, as outlined in national and state Practice Acts. Supervises assistants and support staff. Performs other job-related duties as assigned.
