Childcare Health Consultation Services

Supporting healthy, safe, and thriving learning environments for children birth through school-age across Forsyth County — one child care program at a time.

What We Do

Comprehensive health consultation and coaching for early childhood programs in Forsyth County
The CCHC program bridges public health and early education — assessing child care environments, training providers, and connecting programs to the resources they need to keep children healthy and safe. The CCHC consultation process is designed to meet programs where they are and move them forward in providing safe and healthy learning environments.

On-Site Assessments

Comprehensive evaluation of health and safety practices across all 13 domains against NC DCDEE standards, followed by individualized coaching and site-specific support to help programs implement health and safety best practices.

Every CCHC assessment and training is structured around 13 evidence-based domains aligned with NC DCDEE standards and national best practices in early childhood health.
