GEAR UP FOR SCHOOL – FREE BACKPACK GIVEAWAY

Smart Start of Forsyth County is giving away free backpacks to help families prepare for the new school year. We want every child to have what they need to start school ready to learn.

Event Details:

• What: Free backpack giveaway (one per child)
• Who: All families with school-age children
• When: Choose from three dates – August 8, August 11, or August 12, 2025
• Time: 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM on your chosen date
• Where: Smart Start of Forsyth County, 7820 North Point Boulevard, Suite 200, Winston-Salem, NC 27106
• Cost: FREE

Important Information:

• Registration is required
• One backpack per child
• Supplies are limited
• First come, first served
• Please arrive during business hours on your selected date
